Entry visa issued for work purposes
Labor visa as an employer of state bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic, legal entities operating in the Azerbaijan Republic or individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity without establishing a legal entity, as well as branches and representative offices of foreign legal entities intending to engage in paid employment in the Azerbaijan Republic issued to foreigners and stateless persons arriving on the basis of the application.
The period of stay in the country on a work visa is up to 90 days.
The documents specified in Article 36 of this Code are required to obtain a work visa.
Entry visa issued for medical purposes
Medical visas are issued to foreigners and stateless persons who come to the Republic of Azerbaijan for examination and treatment at the request of medical institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan as a receiving party.
The period of stay in the country on a medical visa is set at 90 days.
In order to obtain a medical visa, a medical certificate stating that the invited person has an examination or a disease to be treated and the documents specified in Article 36 of this Code are required.
Entry visa issued for the purpose of personal visit
Personal visit visa is issued to a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a foreigner or stateless person permanently residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a migrant worker or a foreigner and a stateless person with a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Azerbaijan (only the same migrant worker or foreigner for family members) to foreigners and stateless persons arriving on the basis of a notarized letter of invitation. The period of stay in the country on a personal visit visa is set at 90 days.
A copy of the identity document of the person inviting you to apply for a personal travel visa, the obligation to provide financial expenses (ticket, daily accommodation, medical, etc.) for the visit of a foreigner or stateless person, or the availability of funds to cover these expenses a document confirming that the invited person is a family member of a migrant worker or a foreigner or stateless person studying and the documents specified in Article 36 of this Code are required.
Entrance visa issued for humanitarian purposes
Humanitarian travel visas are issued to foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan to engage in humanitarian activities, conduct humanitarian events or participate in such events at the request of the state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, legal entities operating in this field.
The period of stay in the country on a humanitarian visit visa is set at 90 days.
The documents specified in Article 36 of this Code are required for the issuance of a humanitarian travel visa.
Entrance visa issued for cultural and sports purposes
Culture and sports visas are issued to foreigners and stateless persons at the request of the state bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic, legal entities operating in this field as a receiving party to participate in cultural and sports events held in the Azerbaijan Republic.
The period of stay in the country on a culture and sports visa is set at 60 days.
The documents specified in Article 36 of this Code are required for the issuance of a culture and sports visa.
